Arild Vatn is Professor Emeritus at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). He has worked with environmental questions and politics for most of his active career. He has written several articles and books on ecological and institutional economics, been vice-president and president of the European Society of Ecological Economics, and is a boardmember in Nettverket Smultringøkonomi Norge (Doughnut Economics Network Norway).
