Join LUB on a walk along Torshovbekken, through a ravine landscape shaped by water and marine clay over thousands of years. Today, the ravine is partly hidden, altered and built over, but traces of it remain.

Through a series of stops, we explore how the landscape has shaped the city—and how the city has shaped the landscape. The walk is led by LUB and includes a talk by Tharan Fergus from Oslo’s Agency for Water and Sewerage Works. Along the route, the improvisation group Loose Connections, Emilie Hellum Johansen, Oda Linnea Oliversen and Levina Storåkern will contribute artistic interventions that unfold as part of the walk.

How can we take better care of these landscapes in the face of climate change, flooding, landslide risk and continued urban development? The walk invites us to see Oslo anew, through the nature that continues to move beneath the city.
