Pre-programme: Book release!

AHO x OAT urbanism publication

  • Location: Byens Tak

Welcome to the release of the 5th edition of "AHOs urbane utredninger" at Byens Tak!

The book, titled «Endringsvilje. Strategi og handling for grønnere byer», is published as a collaboration between the Oslo Architecture Triennale and the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO).

Through seven chapters and a photo essay the publication is a reflection of the Triennale question "What if Nature Comes First?", with texts that adress the need for change in architecture and urbanism. What can we do different in our business(es) in order to go from ambitions to action? «Business as usual» is not an option.

The contributions are written by students at the Executive Master's Programme in Urbanism at AHO, discussing themes such as ecological democracy, local activism, demolition and reuse, Doughnut Economics and car-free policies, and comfort in architecture.

At the release party the authors will be joined in conversation by Gro Sandkjær Hanssen and Erling Dokk Holm.
