What needs to change for nature to have a meaningful role in decision-making?

Following the open seminar, DOGA invites participants to explore the questions of biodiversity and land use in greater depth through a roundtable discussion. Participants will work in smaller groups and examine the topic from four perspectives: economics and policy, roles and responsibilities, processes and methods, and regulations and frameworks.

At each table, participants will discuss the same key questions: What prevents us from making better decisions about biodiversity and land use? And what solutions need to be developed or tested in order to move forward?

Each table will have a host from DOGA or FutureBuilt who will document the discussion and collect the participants’ most important experiences, perspectives and proposals.

A summary will be made available to the participants. Selected insights and proposals will inform DOGA and FutureBuilt’s further work on professional recommendations and policy development.

The roundtable discussion will take place in person and in Norwegian and will not be streamed. Places are limited, and participation is by invitation only.
