Start the day in the church pews!

In our regular programme fixture «today's sermon» we invite dedicated professionals up on the pulpit to present a challenge within the 2026 Triennale's title question – "What if Nature Comes First?" – and a solution. Drop by the Sofienberg Church in the morning hours and start the day with church coffee and a short lecture.

This morning we meet Rasmus Reinvang (OMA). He will talk about Oslo's natural preconditions and how nature will affect Norway's capital the coming decades, as a consequence of climate change triggered mainly by fossile climate gas emissions. (Call it karma, if you will.) What happens when the natural forces are unleashed in our cities? What will the future Oslo have to look like when we are forced to put nature first? And what wil have to happen with us, if we are to achieve this?

Rasmus Reinvang is CEO of Oslo Metropolitan Area (OMA). He has a background from politics, climate and urban development, and works for a holistic and sustainable city. Reinvang is especially concerned with how the city can be a driving force for creating values and quality of life within an ecological footprint that the planet can actually sustain. Is actually also educated as a historian of religion, and can appreciate a sermon.
