Today is the day!
Exhibition opening and opening party from 4 pm
The Oslo Architecture Triennale 2026 opens today. From 4 pm, Sofienberg Church and the area around it fill up with a sauna, a bar, a food truck and a DJ. The evening is free and open to everyone.
This year the Triennale asks What if Nature Comes First? You'll find the answers inside Sofienberg Church in Grünerløkka. The church was built in 1877 and is now being used again as an exhibition space.
The day starts with the opening conference, which is sold out. Everyone is welcome for the rest of the day.
Today's programme
4 pm to 9 pm - mingling and open sauna
Oslo Badstuforening heats up the sauna outside the church. Bring swimwear and two towels. Just drop in. Places go to whoever arrives first.
4 pm - bar and food trucks open
The food truck will be ready outside the church.
5 pm to 11.30 pm Exhibition opening and party
This is when the exhibition officially opens. DJ T9T9T9 plays through the evening. Perla, a local bar from the neighbourhood, runs the bar, and Helt Rå serves food from the truck.
Entry is free. First come, first served.
The Triennale runs until 1 October.
