Nicolai Riise NO
Programme: Nature, reuse and business
Nicolai Riise is architect MNAL, partner and chair of Mad architects. For years, he has worked with sustainable real estate and urban development, with full scale reuse and transformation projects like KA13 in Oslo, and the FutureBuilt project Stovner Torg – winner of the C40 international competition Reinventing Cities. Nicolai also works with a regulatory sandbox to test new solutions and simplifications of laws and refulations in the construction industry. He is concerned with how transformation, simplification and common sense can contribute to an architecture business that take more responsibility in the value chain – thus opening up a larger market and a greater part of the value creation for the architect.
Nicolai Riise contributes to the event Nature, reuse and business 28 September.
