Magnus Widerøe is an architect and founder of Studio Widerøe, a practice that develops architecture in massive natural stone and timber. The studio specialises in surplus Larvikite, excess stone from Norwegian stone industry that today is being deposited, exploring how this can be brought to life again as a load bearing building material.

Magnus Widerøe contributes to the seminar The New Stone Age 18 September and is also a part of the exhibition with the project Varig Larvikitt, together with Martin Hopland.
