Hanna Asefaw is a writer, performing artist, human geographer and activist. Her interdisciplinary practice spans music, singing, spoken word, poetry and contemporary circus, with identity, heritage and memory as recurring themes. Asefaw studied human geography at the University of Oslo and creative writing at Newcastle University. She has been involved with TekstLab since 2015 and joined the TekstLab Incubator in 2023.
