Franziska Meisel is a landscape architect MNLA and Global Director, Landscape at Henning Larsen. With more than 20 years of international experience, she works at the intersection of landscape architecture, urban development and sustainability. She leads Henning Larsen’s global landscape practice, with a particular focus on biodiversity, nature restoration and water-sensitive design, promoting landscape as a fundamental premise for buildings, public spaces and blue-green infrastructure.

Previously, she was Associate Partner and Head of the Norwegian Market at SLA in Oslo. Her international experience also includes working at MVRDV in Rotterdam, as well as in Berlin and Chicago. Meisel holds a master’s degree in architecture from Technische Universität Berlin and is a certified BREEAM AP.
