CODE arkitektur is a part of the exhibition Oslo in the Making with the project The Ammerud O.

The O, CODE Arkitektur’s four story circular building, is being planned between the trees in the area by the Ammerud metro station.

With clear ambitions for sustainability in a broad sense, the O will not only produce more energy than it consumes – it also stresses community, inclusion and quality of life, offering a wide selection of apartment types. In the middle of the circle, reached through four large portals connecting the building to surrounding walkways and trails, is a 63 metre wide courtyard with shared spaces and areas for the growing of fruit, herbs and flowers.

The starting point for the company's project work is to unite innovative ideas with pragmatic solutions, focusing on environmentally oriented and sustainable answers. CODE arkitektur have won several first prizes in different architecture and design competitions and has solid knowledge and ability to execute when it comes to planning, project development, construction and detailing.
