We are in the midst of the 8th edition of Oslo Architecture Triennale, and many of Oslo's architect offices have requested a closer look at our exhibitions. Thus we want to invite the architect industry in Oslo for an after work event with drinks and guidet tour of the exhibitions in Oslo Neighbourhood Lab at the former Edvard Munch Museum Friday October 21.

Neighbourhood restaurant Kampen Bistro is operating the bar, there will be street food from local actors, professional discussions and socialising. Director and Chief Curator Christian Pagh will give an introrudction of the exhibitions, followed by a tour where everyone can take a closer look at the different exhibitions:

Mission Neighbourhood – (Re)forming Communities, showing 28 international projects exploring different dimensions of neighbourhood, focusing on social infrastructure, future streets, neighbourhood nature and systemic change.

Oslo in the Making, highlighting current development projects in Oslo with neighbourhood perspectives, combining bottom-up initiatives with large scale urban transformation projects, as the fresh competition entries in the city's sea front at Grønlikaia, as well as the plans for developing Lilleakerbyen at the border of Oslo.

Peter Cook: Ideas for Cites, with the acclaimed British architect and artist's drawings, especially chosen wit his relationship with Oslo and neighoburhoods in mind.

A separate part of the exhibition area, MUNCH FULL / MUNCH EMPTY / WHATS NEXT? explores the museum building's past, presence and possible future(s).

Kickstart the weekend in the neighbourhood!
