Statsbygg invites you to a breakfast seminar with international speakers. The project New Government Quarter project will contribute to urban repair, provide safe and good workplaces for the ministries and an open and green urban space for Oslo's residents.

How can city life be created in urban outdoor spaces that invite play and stay for all ages? What are the principles of outdoor spaces that generate urban life? How can outdoor spaces create experiences and activities for everyone?

"Neighbourhood, play and community places". Christian Pagh, director and chief curator of the Oslo Architecture Triennale

Christian Pagh is director and chief curator of the Oslo Architecture Triennale. Christian has previously been a partner in the design agency Urgent.Agency and led a number of projects within urban and local development with a focus on community, play and co-creation, including in Billund, LEGO's hometown, and in Carlsbergbyen, Copenhagen.

"Landscape for play". Helle Nebelong, landscape architect.

Helle Nebelong is a pioneer in the movement for natural playgrounds and an advocate for children's right to play. Helle will share her experiences on how to create outdoor play in the city throughout the year.

"How can we activate spaces for play and living through public art?". Nina Sørlie, curator

Nina Sørlie works as a curator for the Møller Collection and for Møller Eiendom. She helped build Kistefos Museum and Sculpture Park.

"Three design principles for creating playful spaces in the city". Stephen Richards, Gillespies.

Stephen Richards has over 25 years of experience in the design and engineering of award-winning international landscape projects. He will present his key principles for how to create and facilitate playful outdoor spaces in an urban context.
