The Triennale exhibition at ROM focuses on the artistic aspect of neighbourhood development

As part of the 2022 Oslo Architecture Triennale theme, ROM will showcase a selection of artistic perspectives on neighbourhoods. The artistic investigations are important contributions to better understanding the places we share.

Through the exhibition and different events 15 projects researching our shared surroundings will be presented. Many of the projects stem from the neighbourhood around ROM in the street of Maridalsveien, others centre around other neighbourhoods like Stovner, Vålerenga and Gamlebyen.

The project are realised in collaboration with Oslo Architecture Triennale and the Master's program for Art and Public Space (MAPS) at KHiO – Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Several of the projects originate from ROM's Open Call launched previously this year, which you can read more about here.

Artists: Jessica Williams, Karina Sletten, Aleksander Johan Andreassen, Trude Bekk & Thomas Teulon, Erina Kawachi & Máté Labus, Ana Brotas & Viviana Cárdenas, Runa Sandnes, Lexie Owen, Sarah Sekles, Amina Baker Shubar, Jad El Khoury, Lill Yildiz Yalcin, Sarah S., Amalie Risom Nyrup, Merete Røstad and Anna Carin Hedberg & Ebba Moi.
